• Turning Movements, separate counting of bikes at intersections or midblock or other road crossing points of interest.
• Patronage, track and tail counts for utilisation audits
• Count of bikes at any trip termination point.
• Queue Delay of bikes at any interface with road, rail or people
• Queue Length of bikes at any interface with road, rail or people

Interview of cyclist for a number of elements:

• Trip Purpose, next mode choice,
• parking facilities, safety perceptions, accident history
• Speed of cyclist on and off road, especially joint use pathways
• Travel Times of cyclist
• Headway of bikes and cars, can a cyclist cross a road in a reasonable time
• Gap Acceptance, being the correlation of headway can a cyclist cross a road in a reasonable time
• Time delay experienced by cyclist at various interface points
